pic of engine ?

VIN decoder says 1990 MY not 1994. depicted by one of the "L"s in there.

I have seen a 200Tdi with an EGR, if you look at any 200Tdi manifold you will see the oval shape in the casting for one. I do believe they were fitted to some export models but not for the home market.

Could this have been an ex-Japan car? That would explain the EGR vale and the much more recent registration date.

On the V5C does it say on the first page "First registered elsewhere, first reg in the UK bla bla bla?

No. I have had Japan imports before. V5 states: date of first Registration 01 07 2002.(DECL/D MANUF 1994) A new one on me?

Does it have any other special features?

The VIN says 1990, so what has it done for 12yrs under LR roofs???

Could it have been a test bed vehicle?

What has it done for the last 11yrs????

May have been always been used on site and not on the highway, so not required to be registered. Why not Contact the previous owner for the history.

The Queens cars are not registered, so no number plates until sold.
