just wondering if there is a right way and a wrong way to do this or is it as stright forward as it seems, i have the mounting bracket but one of the bolts has sheared on the four rubbers,

any feedback would be cool, cheers

search laddie do a search oh hang on.. you need to have the reet bonnet cos the wrong un dunt got the extra strenghtening bits in it like what the right one has. the right one has strenghtning bit underneath it on the underside. if you dunt got that bit then yer bonnet will not take the weight of the spare cos its a heavy bugger but the right one wiff all the bits on it will be able to support the heavy mass of the spare wheel and tyre.
now if you have all the bits and yer bonnet can take all that weight you then have to consider how much fun yer gonna have trying to lift the thing up there and whether you have the nessesary brawn to lift yer bonnet avec le spare wheel and tyre. as i'm sure you know its quite heavy as its big wheel and tyre that you have for a spare. so to pur it simply you need to ensure the bonnet is strenghtened and that you really want to put it up there!

and yer steering gits heavier
and yer gits nervous when yer stick yer heed under the bonnet

Bunch of wimps, i have my wheel on the bonnet when i need the extra space in the boot, no probs getting it on there and lifting it up, the only downside that i find is the limited visibility.

git the bloooody thing on the bonnet ,you know it makes sense ,its the way nature intended it !!!!!!!!!!!! go on do it i dare yahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

i'll sit it on the bonnet and check out the visibility, the bonnet thats on it has had the holes drilled in it befor but then someone checker plated over the top
