Does anyone know if the spare wheel cover for a 255/18 tyre will fit snugly on a 235/50/18 tyre or will it be too wide?

does yu know how tyre sizes work??

It's tyre width wall height as a percentage of tyre width & then lastly rim diameter

so 255/85/16 is 255 wide & wall height is 85% of 255. + 16"rim diameter. Can I leave yu to figure the rest of it out????

I know the 255 is width, 50 is profile and 18 is wheel diameter but the cover i've seen on the website says it fits 255/16 and 255/18 tyres
i just want to make sure it fits 235/18 tyres snugly without having to pad it out

fook no 2 wheel covers are ever the same size anyway. fone em and ask & if it doesn't look right when it arrives send the tw*tting thing back to em.
