I noticed today that my rear wiper didnt work so had a look at it, and it just seems that the spare tyre mounted on the back door is pushing up against it.

Was wondering if anyone else had a similar problem and if so how did you solve it? Im just going to pack a few washers or an extra few nuts on the bolts.

wind the nuts (located behind the spare) out a couple of turns. Or in the event that they are missing. Fit some.

I did think about that but then was worried about them all coming loose?

As ratty said just turn the ones behind the wheel out, and then tighten the ones on the outside up againts them - as long as there tight againts each other.

If your worried about them comming loose you could alway put a send set of nuts behind the wheel and tighter them up against each other which will lock them so they never move again - a bit over overkill as mine had never come off and it must bounce over 50-100 speed bumps at 40mph every day!

Mine aint dropped off yet and it also has a high lift jack hanging off it a lot of the time. If you are worried about it stick some threadlock on em.
