no! silly he'll have to walk back wont he ?

Nope. His missus would take the car and follow him to the scrappy to make sure he don't try and hide it instead of scrapping it. She'd then have to bring him back again to stop him attempting to stop it being cubed.;)

There's meant to be a 4x4 course at this show. I looked at the place on Google maps but couldn't see any off road course when looking via satellite view. Is it worth doing?

If you do the course expect to gain some damage on your vehicle. I didn't see anybody make it around last year without gaining some new mark, dent, scrape or losing some trim. The marshalling last year left a lot to be desired too.

Really? Is it that poorly designed? What was the main issue with it? Comments like that put me off doing things especially considering I drive a Freelander! I am still surprised that it manages to go over sleeping policemen without beaching!

The course is mainly sunken and has quite a few steep ascents and descents and also several sharp corners. All of which conspired to damage bumpers and wings.

I would advise you to spend an hour or so watching others drive around the course before making your mind up for yourself rather than be put off altogether by what I say.

here's what I had to say about it last year. (post 15 onwards;))

was at the bath and west show last week and could see the course from the show as they were doing driven round experiences, and looks like they have built lots of new bits but dont think i would put a standard freelander round it if i cared about it or had to drive it home
