2012 defender puma.

Internal courtesy light.

I've blown the fuse in the bosses defender, the internal lights. Somebody has bodged some ****y LED lights in and I was tasked with removing them. I pulled the front internal light out and POP, somebody has gone to town on twist joins.

Anyway, been looking for this fuse for an hour.. the internet keeps coming back with the satellite fuse box, position 30, 5A

Is that the one under the steering wheel? because position 30 is the hazards with 15A and they work fine.
Have i got the wrong box?

Thanks in advance guys.

UPDATE. Not a fuse.. there is a permanent 12v, it seems the short has affected the negative switching. any ideas?

bloody alarm ecu fried??

tell the boss to take it to a garage and get someone competent next time.. as this is outside your job description :p

haven't a puma either i'm afraid. check the radio and other bits work, could be on the same fuse.

Fuse 30 in the dash fuse box - 10A rating
Does the radio still work ?
under the steering wheel, the other fuse box ?

everything works, except the automatic light... it seems the neg is switched via the alarm ecu, and thats not changing the state of the neg. :(

i think its toast...

will update in a few days
