When I flick the switch on, it comes on and the light comes on saying it's on.
When I flick the switch off, it goes off and so too does the light.

What's wrong with my land rover?
The oil leak has decreased as well...

other than running out of oil it just sounds like your HRS is working properly

dont moan another fault will be along shortly

would be nice if mine worked does anyone know if you can buy a replacement set of wires that go on the rear screen

if you've got the older type of screen with the "painted" on traces you can sometime repair them with conductive paint of the type often used to badly repair PCBs - as has been oft mentioned on here

you are delusional, what you don't realise is that switching the rear screen on is also engaging diff lock, your brake lights, (and your brakes), your hazards and deflating your tyres all at the same time - it's just that being a glass-half-full type of chap you only notice the bits that are working as they should. When you then switch it off that activates the self destruct timer and it only has 24 hrs to go.

The oil leak has decreased in line with saudi supply, indicating the imminent demise of the planet. The worst thing being that you are completely oblivious to it, and yet it's all your fault!!! Oh well, best open another bottle then.

Bugger, I pressed mine last night

This is a well-known critical fault - you should have had a factory recall.

I'd sue.

Mine has stopped working... The switch has disintegrated inside the dash, the window broke in the rear door cos the door had a fracture, so i got a whole new door (bargain, £2.19 on ebay!) And cos it used to be a pickup it aint even wired in! And the bulb in the dash aint there! Bloody cheek!
