Looking at that inlet, for a THOR, that's what I have! I always thought mine was the GEMS? o_O

What do I know?

Anyway, I'd bid on that lot, but some bearded hillbilly will beat me to it :p
 
Well it's not far from me so worth a tenner punt. Doubt I'll get it for that but worth a try!

GEMS Has the big rectangular plenum chamber on top of the engine with the size and V8 written on it.

I'm relatively new to Rage Rover, although for work I have driven umpteen Defenders, all diesel of course.

But, my 38 has an inlet that looks like an octopus. Learn something new every day :rolleyes: To me, it was simply a V8....:D
 
Yep, you're on a thor then. Same block, just different inlet tract and management system. Worth knowing if you're buying sensors etc, yours should be Bosch not Lucas.

Yup, bought brand new O2 sensors and they were Bosch. It's handy to know.
