I need to replace the film that has the letters on - D,N,R etc as one side is a melted from the bulb below.
Is the part used on any other model? The dash is disco based and a lot of the parts are interchangable but the gear selector isn't it seems.

I believe to design unique to the RRc. I replaced that item on my 3.5 it's was an easy job if yours is like the 3.5s, but that was 21 years ago, I doubt if the part is available today.

It's just a plastic blind that obscures illumination to the positions not in use on the selector. No 7 in this link. No 1 looks very similar to the D1 But we have all position showing 1 2 3 D N R P

Thanks, that's more or less it except I think that's the hard dash version which is slightly different. I'm tempted to try and make one.
