99/V, 85k miles, done a couple of hundred miles and so far so good. Drives fantastically, and looks great.
One thing I noticed at the weekend tho, overnight the rear suspension lowered itself to park height whilst the front stayed up, I suspected an air leak to the rear, but since it hasn't done it??

Next thing, I'm going away on holiday for 11 days, so car will be parked up, it has a new battery, 2weeks old, halfords job. Should the battery retain enough charge for when I return?
Not aware of any of the battery drain problems with this car, and it will be parked at my mums, well away from any thing else.

you could allways put a low volt charger on it to be safe (like 1.5 amp. max)

alot of folks use those trickle charge solar panel things,god knows why i cant remember the last time i seen the sun

can your mum start it every couple of days and take it for a spin or just run it for a bit?

it should be fine if there are no issues with rf signals!

i would get the eka code and a battery charger just in case tho!

won't be parked near a power source so no charger option.
Nah she wont be able to take it for a spin.
So if it goes flat, it will require the code to unlock?

yep, ring your nearest dealer. the code should be free but you will have to prove ownership. have you got the v5 back yet. if not, ring dealer and explain that you are a local garage and replaced battery. cant open car and customer is due to collect it soon!
