I am fitting a safari snorkel on my landrover 90 TD 1988. would anybody recommend in sealing with silicone the rubber drain valve on the air intake ????.

Yes seal it, but use Tigerseal.
U-POL TIGER SEAL POLYURETHANE BLACK SEALER ADHESIVE * on eBay!

we used to in Australia, but then id dont rain so much there , has yours got the drain slits on the ram air top ?

nope, never seal your snorkel!

how will the water get in your engine if you don't? :doh:
