Hello everyone, the thing is some horrible, scum bag, thieving piece of s*it pinched my neighbours 90 last week from right outside his house and mine. Didn't hear a thing, really wish I had but my heavily modded disco is still out there and I know these mods get the attention of these w*nkers. I want to fit a snap off steering wheel to add to security but can't source one. Can anybody help?? It's a '94 200tdi model.

The pinched 90 was a black one. Pretty standard, just full roof rack in it. 2003. If anybody hears or sees anything. Cheers.

TBH, unless you fit a pedal lock and a gear stick lock, just taking the steering wheel off isn't going to help. There is a very simple way of driving it without the steering wheel, sadly. Used in isolation things like steering locks, pedal locks, handbrake locks, etc don't really offer much protection and are easily defeated. :-(

If they want it, they'll take it, even on the back of a hiab. Visible measures such as steeringwheel lock and pedal lock will deter the local scroats, but not a determined tealeaf.

Does anybody know of an auto-electrician around the north west that can fit a kill switch for me??

ive just got this

snap off adaptor of ebay and new wheel and a 29 splined boss

u need t count the spline on ur wheel pal and nuy a boss that suits, wheelk and snap off boss are universal

hope that helps

So does the snap off boss just fit into steering wheel boss??

it splits pal the wheel boss fits on the columb and then half of the snap off boss bolts t that and other half bolts t wheel, and clips together,

DiskLok would offer you more protection than a snap off steering wheel.

Fitting a kill switch is very simple - you don't need a auto electrician to do it for you.

Make sure your wheel is on full lock before fitting the DiskLok.

If possible block your disco in by other vehicles.
