Hi Again guys

I've tried adjustig the fuel injector diaphragm but I'm still getting a smoking engine. Black smoke when I welly it, white smoke if I rev it at a standstill. Massive waft of black smoke when I start up.

I think there might be a bit of exhaust in the engine bay too!

Any ideas?

Cheers

Chris

Puff of black when starting is std for a 200 assuming thats what you have?
Black smoke when welly applied means to much fuel ie you have turned the diaphragm to much.
White smoke revving at a standstill assuming its warm? could be pump timing or other engine related fault.

The bit of exhaust in the engine bay is the manifold :confused:

Sounds like you need to get your pump properly set or you have bad glow plugs, especially the massive cloud at start up.
