Hi all just brought my 2nd discovery 200tdi. This one again has eng problems ! Vehicle starts first time no missfire or knocking but really smokey on idle and revs. Also sounds a little scratchy if you no what i mean ? Sounds like a 200 just a bit metalic ? There's various eng oil leaks im thinking piston rings ? Any ideas ?

or head gasket on its way !!
have you checked the turbo !!
it may well be a case of illimuation my dear watson !!

Haven't checked either at the moment untill its at my garage i can't really play ! Oil doesn't look to emulsified from what i can remember ?
