Well...more like drinks & mirrors.
S2 interior rear vision mirror decided to commit suicide but for the wire on it saving it from certain death and letting it dangle from the windscreen. It looks like it has been fixed before a bit on the cheap. Is there anything to get dried rearvision mirror glue/crud of the windscreen so I can restick it?. I am hoping not to scrape it as the black dotted stuff goes under it and I dont want to scratch through it to be visible outside.
The drink holder in the front console is driving me nuts. It wont stay in, it clicks and clunks pushing it in, then first little bump and out it comes. I read with interest in a recent post about taking springs out and having it manual, but where are they and how do you get the #$%^ thing to come all the way out? I might have to go to contortionist classes to twist my body upside down and sideways to get a better look at it, but the missus laughed her head off to see my knees and feet sticking up where my head should have been on the seat back!!!!
Any sugggestions (about the car) would be much appreciated.
