I'm wanting to give Annie a lick of paint but need to get the glue residue of the door were there has been a big county decal ,anyone recommend anything to remove it as I've tried with works steam cleaner turned up to max temp

toffee wheel

No, I'm not joking it's what they're called and what bodyshops use to remove stickers and glue residue.

You need a chemical to get rid..I have a foam PC cleaner I use for things like that and it usually gets rid of sticky stuff/glue etc

believe it or not get the glue warm with a hairdryer then blast it with loads a mr sheen furniture polish leave it fer 1 hour or so then wipe it away with a bit of jiff....err ciff on a rag

itll turn into ickle balls of gak like tough black bogies but will come off the pannel really easy :D:D:D

Problem is johnny I'm a bloke livin on my own so don't own a hair dryer ,polish or cif.lol

reet now im with yer its a bit of graft but petrol and a scotchbrite pad will do the same thing even better an old toothbrush :bolt::behindsofa::5brofl:

petrol on a rag, or white spirits. anything stronger and you're in danger of scrubbing the paint off with it.

Oven cleaner works well with most oil based adhesives. After all, it's designed to get baked on fat off cookers.
