Has anyone on here noticed a very small whistle noise when your air con is on?

My hippo has done it ever since i had it (about 1 year ago)..

My air con is ICE cold, but every say 90 seconds, you can hear a very faint whistle that lasts about 3-5 secs.. It sounds like an old fashioned cooker kettle just before it starts to whistle and boil..

Dont get me wrong, im probably being pedantic as ****.. None of my friends or my wife can hear it, but its def there..

ours does it. Not a problem at all

You can hear it louder with the pollen filter removed.

It's the compressor.
