Good Afternoon all.

A friend has just brought a horse lorry and has asked the question, "Does it
need plating". She is not sure what this means and neither am I. Its a C reg
converted Ford Transit.

Anyone any ideas???

Thanks in advance

Means it would have to have a 'plate'* fitted, issued by VOSA showing
(amongst other things) the axle weights, and gross permitted weights.

* A Plate actually consists of 2 laminated pieces of card, one the actual
plate itself, which has to be fitted within the vehicle cab, and the other
the plating certificate, to be kept with the vehicle documents.
