Good afternoon gents, hope your all enjoying your bank holiday, we've got decent weather here,
Ok if possible does anyone have any suggestions to why when in neutral or park in the disco auto 300 tdi, does there seem to be a slight vibration, I've changed all gearbox and engine mountings in fact changed everything even all polybushed not that they should make a big difference, it's not drastic but irritating the only person enjoying it seems to be the wife, can't get her out the bloody thing!!!!.
Any advice welcome,

you could check front damper on crank pulley, a common fault is the drive plate cracking

Hi Jamea, which actual plate do you mean, the one on the damper it self, it had a new cam belt fitted a couple of thousand mile ago, I just called the mechanic and in the process he changed the damper and eeplaced a new key woodruff key and checked for alignment, would he have noticed a a crack etc. there's no vibe at all when in gear or moving,
