Hi there,

Does anyone kno the dimensions of the steel section used on the sills? Need to order the right size but can't get a measurement from the old ones!

Ta!

What sills? the defender has a thin aluminium pressing that runs under the doors and up to the wheel arches, not exactly sills. If you're having problems rip 'em off and bin 'em. Or buy some nice rocksliders :)

No, the steel the runs under the seat box, the ally 'sill' bolts to it. Attaches at the bulkhead and the out riggers I think.

The rear on a 110 csw is all one thing with the door pillars and everything, but only the bottom section is rotten so just want to chop a new piece in.

This is for someone else, as soon as my pay comes in I'm having some rock sliders on mine, got bloody chequer plate at the mo... Not a fan!

Use uni-strut hilti bar stuff, it's galvanised too! I cut the bracket off my old sill, welded it to this and just welded up a rear bracket.

Also means you can bolt on accessories with channel nuts!!!
