hi all

my first post so be gentle!!

ive just bought a set of side steps for my disco 1998 300tdi, but as with many of the posts on here there are no brackets with them!

im an engineer and have loads of stainless plate to choose from, i just need a drawing of both the front and rear brackets so i can fabricate my own.

anyone know of where i can find a drawing?

any help really would be appreciated.

cheers

tony

Depending on type of sidesteps, fitting brackets could be different.
On my Disco the brackets are made from square tube, one end with a welded on plate with boltholes to fit the steps and two welded on vertical U tubes with a lock plate and bolts at the disco end..
If i could figure out how to load photos i would but if photos needed PM me with an email address and I will forward.

Zombie thread alert! Got some side steps but no brackets on them- does anyone know if they’re still available, or even better have some lying around?

Don’t think I have the skill to knock up my own!

Cheers.

Don’t think I have the skill to knock up my own sadly.

Cheers!

Whoops- only meant to post once, didn’t think it posted properly first time round, now can’t find delete post option.
