Hi
I am fitting some new Headlight Bulbs they are Osram Nightbreaker Plus.
The bulbs are from E-Bay and they come with a pair of 501 Extreme White sidelight Bulbs,Can someone tell me if these sidelight bulbs are ok to fit and will I benefit from them.

The 501 is the rite bulb. As to the benefit of the new bulb? They do look whiter than the normal bulbs if that's a good thing?

I was given the same ones as a 'gift' with my NightBreakers too.

They are fine - no problem.

You'll find they light one way, but not the other way round, so when you put them in the holders there's a 50% change of getting it right first time.

I very rarely drive with only side-lights but they are much brighter and more visible than the originals which are yellow by comparison.

I like them - they look pretty! :hippie:

they are a diode i am sure and they only work annode to cathode

Yes, but I prefer variable mu pentodes....
