Hi all,
Our 1995 Disco (TDi) has just started giving a mild shudder when accelerating, with a seemingly mild loss of power.It started around the 30mph mark but has seemed to spread wider across different speeds now.There is also a high pitched metallic squeak which is only apparent on acceleration also.The shudder and squeak appear to be in unison. It has been through a few floods over the last few weeks so could this be a clue.

Any ideas greatly received.

I would bet on you had dry uj's, going in the water has amde em rust and they/it are about to die! Cheap fix if you nip it in the bud or expensive if you carry on. My advice is have them checked by yourself or another and if odd movement detected replace the uj.
