Should the disco get renamed to the LR4 in Europe like it is in North America?

I work on the discovery line at Solihull.. Not heard anything about that possibly happening??

When LR start using silly abbreviation's for their car's like Peugot/Renault etc d, then that's when they'll lose sale's. Buying a new LR is not buying a matchbox on wheel's, but a car that is different and is a statement in itself.

Why?

As I understand it the LR3 was only so named to try and disassociate the model with the D2, due to the Discovery's appalling reliability record in the States.

Quite simple

Americans speak American NOT English, wtf would we want to copy them?
