My X reg D2 (185k miles) is showing her age.
This is the less than complete list of problems...

Needed some welding on the chassis at the last MOT
Coolant leak - regularly leading to 1litre refills and engine overheating!
Fuel regulator leak
Leak from the seal on the transfer box
Gear change selector problems (just the plate I think)
Offside track rod end needs replacing
leak from front pinion seal
dim headlight (probably just dirty/burned contacts)
She has been poorly maintained by me for a couple of years so all fluids/greases will need replacing and a thorough all round service.
Sometimes leaks appear on the inside - I suspect the sun roof

I've owned her since new (Now much poorer - and more sensible) and she has been a much loved (though neglected) part of the family. It'd be nice to see her bought back up to spec but I just don't know how much that would all be.

I know she's probably worth less than £2k but any useful opinions/advice would be appreciated

What's it likely to cost to put that lot right? A couple of grand?

If you can do it yourself it won't be much more than a couple of hundred quid going by your list.
As for the welding howlongs a piece of string

I'd love to do it myself but I've proved I don't have the time
So it'll need to be a garage or an enthusiast with a penchant for doing restorations.

Anyone care to recommend anyone in/near North Devon?
