well I live in the sticks and it gets allot of back lane use, and allot of tarmac as the missis uses it for work aswell, I want to get it to a good standard more upgraded than of the shelf landy parts, like it too look family on the outside but want it too be able to do more than it says on the tin if you know what I mean:) the 4 shocks on ebay are £149

i put these on, as JM said this is the way to go, been on since may and all ok and what a lot better the car is to drive, as my other were knackt, but you could not really tell until i removed them, did em in about 2 hour,

they sell them through brit parts ? will take a look thanks, what about steering damper

Landrovers are pretty awesome on standard shocks. Munroe's or armstrong are fine. and cheap. Why blow money on "branded" products when there's no need.. I have ****part shocks on the back of the 110 and they're fine so far.

i put a terrafirma 1 on, £29.00 off fleabay, i know they are brit part, but some on here have fit em and all seam to be ok, i have heard some bad thing about terrafirma too!

that's why im asking the question, not looking for branded names, want good strong reliable parts. Most but all the bits on my car a factory fitted, didn't realise until from prop nearly gave way, and found out it factory non maintained it had done 120,000  looking not to get ripped off just advise on what to get

OEM parts are usually more than adequate and surprisingly cheap if you stay away from LR dealerships.

I think if you just do normal LR stuff (and it sounds like you do) then you just get the OEM shocks.... LR spend years and millions sorting this stuff out for us,... much more than some of the names mentioned: ..... simples in my view.
