Just got myself a new lockset for the defender. It hasn't come with any shear bolts. Should I get some new ones or are they more trouble than they're worth?

I just used standard bolts when I done mine in my old pickup...

they are a bit outdated now, as they are easy enough to by pass , so for own ease in the future just use standard hex . JMHO

I suspected that might be the general consensus. I think they are standard M8 bolts.
