having recently acquired a series 3 tdi Landover I notice that I am getting a lot of vibration from the engine at all revs and putting it into overdrive doesn't help any ideas anyone

What are you comparing the vibration against? These are not quiet or smooth motors tbh

Worth a look at Glencoynes web site he fits modified defender engine mounts which absorb the vibrations better.Sells good quality OEM items
Engine conversion parts
Need to cut them like this.

+1 to genuine engine mounts, makes a big difference over cheap copies

Depends what vibrations your getting...it it just like making the gear stick rattle?????

thanks turned out to be a very worn engine mout and also the engine was tight agaist the bulkhead so all in bits

Check your gearbox mounts as well.............
