are the swb and lwb different. after problems bleeding brakes left we wondering if i have the wrong master cylinder which was new before i started bleeding the brakes.

A series 2 could be fitted with any combination of master cylinder/wheel cylinders.

My series 2 SWB's got series 3 servo assisted twin circuit 11" brakes from a V6 LWB.

And yes SWB & LWB are usually different.

Any idea what you've got??

not sure but I know the MC for the 6cyl is

i have a lwb and i think i have a swb as the brakes are bleed up till theres no air and then i bleed them some more but the pedal is still nearly on the floor and but if i double press it the pedal holds the pressure and stays up well over half.
and yes the adjusters are right tight to the drum
