i'm getting a series of 3 beeps, as in: beep beep beep, pause, beep beep beep, pause, beep beep beep. then it stops for about 5 mins and repeats. it sounds like its from the main system beeper and mutes the stereo also

any ideas????

also does lpg, single point, need oil injection/sddition too?? and how do i go about checking/installing such a device if required??

Has it got a car phone kit installed ? mine mutes the stereo when it connects

it has but its not connected to a phone, the circuit board is still there tho, will try and remove it from system see if it helps

Mines live (Nokia) whenever the ignitions on, regardless of whether the phones connected as its bluetooth operated as well.

i think the whole thing may have been connected with the earth lead fiasco!! i havn't heard it since i got car back running, but then i wasn't in a mood for pathetic wimpering from a naughty range rover at the time!!!! it was on borrowed ground!!!

incidently it went crazy as i was picking up the exhaust which took me 20-30 mins to change(rear tail section)

exhaust, £70, battery earth coming off 5 hours, fitting exhaust 20-30 mins, whole ironic day
