Hi all, im cracking on with my restoration of a 1973 series 3 swb landy and have been thinking about the fact it has no documentation with it at all. I just wondered how i go about this as im on a tight budget.

Thanks for any suggestions

i would hpi vin no before applying to dvla

They dont.
VINs are obligatory since 1980

on a 73 chassis no chance the front dumb iron where its stamped would have been replaced by now

you can be surprised i lost my plate the he still may have and was just able to glean enough of number to match mine, iwas worried as i bought it from small breakers and spent a year,new galv chassis reconned geabox axles new springs etc and i was going to check to see if he had no to find hed been sent away for dealing and stealing landrovers,luckly in the end mine was allright
