hi, im going to need a road going landrover (well i suppose car but it was allways going to be a landrover
) in a couple of years for when im 17, but being me i cant just do it the easy way so im doing another full rebuild... so what ive got myself is 2 series 3's in need of alot of work. so...
one has:
2.25 diesel (getting rebuilt and maybe turbo'd)
standard gearbox
standard axles
knackered springs
pretty knackered chassis, but repairable...
rear tub
wings
cut to pieces seat box
steering box
no roof
no doors
ummm a fair amount missing but likewise it has a fairly rust free bulkhead etc
the other has:
no engine
a gearbox
both axles
free wheeling hubs
fairly rust free chassis
hard top
rear tub
good seat box
no doors
no front end really
you get the idea, lots of work, just what i need
so it should be a nice project, with not too much fabrication.... well compared to my v8 suzuki sj (dont worry, its got landy engine, box, axles etc) and the s2 hybrid
ill try and get some pics on saturday....
