Hello all,

My rear break light works when breaking but not when the lights are on. Can people give me any tips on how to look into this. I am a complete novice. and would appreciate some tips.

Sounds like a earth fault, there will be a wire from the rear light cluster in question that goes to the chassis as an earth, undo this and clean it all up to make sure there is a good contact to the chassis.

or bulbs round wrong way

Yep thats a goodun, there is 3 types of stop/tail bulb.
SBC no offset.
Single offset, and
Double offset.
Make sure yours is the right one, I'd say the landy is no offset, but check the holder or take it to a car shop (not halfrauds, someone who knows what a bulb is).
