Hi
I have a 1972 series 3 which is used very occasionally, I have just gone to it and the indri actors are not working nor are the temp and fuel guages. My lights and wipers are all ok. The only thing hat I have done differently is used the pull hazard switch for 10 minutes while under tow due to a stuck clutch which needed freeing off. Since then the problem started. Any ideas would be gratefully received. Thanks

Bad connections or a bad earth?

Take apart connections and and clean. I believe the problem is quite common.

My series had issues with the indicators, but they have no fixed them selves :)

check fuses

If blown there may be a short. Happened to me and turned out the cable assembly I'd made going to the back had its insulation melted and the bare conductor shorting on the exhaust. Assembly had come loose.

if fuses ok, check earth bonds near lights & gauges, check with a continunity/beep meter if you got one. If in doubt: get the strippers and crimpers out!

Thanks for your help, it all seemed unrelated issues, NSF indicator was a broken wire in inner wing, osf indicator corroded connector. Temp guage was bad connection at sender and fuel guage started to work after fiddling.

in which case i'd redo the buggered wires
