hi all hav recently bought a series 3 lightweight hardtop, so other day i bought a truck cab off ebay fo a series, and its bout 2 inches too wide and now i cannot for the life of me find any info or piccies of a lightweight wi a TC is it because they dunt fit or is it cos ive not looked it up enuff and im crap at fitting em!!!

I think most people just put up with the overhang. It's the same problem with hard tops. If it's really ****ing you off you could always reshape it with a hammer

yeah but no i mean that did **** me off but then i heard about the spacer plate but what i mean is that its actually 2 inches wider than the body which makes the holes not line up?????

I think you need a big bloke each side pushing in as yioyu drop the bolts in. I don't think the spacer plate fits at all, so you will just have more drafts!
