Hi all!

My new lightweight's got a 2.5 Diahatsu Diesel engine with twin tanks and it's got a bit of a thing for intermittently stalling.

I've been told that it might be air leaking in to the fuel system from the change over valve, and to try running it on one tank for a while. Is it right that I'm simply removing the top pipe from the changeover valve and connecting it directly to the tank next to it (basically moving it like shown with the yellow arrow) after removing the pipe running into that, and leaving that pipe disconnected? Anything else I should know?

any help greatly appreciated!
