so if I have this right, yellow knob up, red lever forward = 2 wheel drive (rear wheels), yellow knob down, red lever forward = 4 wheel drive?

the yellow knob has a "might pop up at any moment" feeling to it! It should stay down I'm hoping. Off to give it a try.

4wd high box

red lever back=low box (always 4wd)

Dont leave it in 4wd if yer on good traction surface (at least 1 wheel needs to be able to slip) else you'll smash yer transfer box
