Sorry for the delayed response. Mystery over, its a 15j diesel. I'll put up a picture. Needs some work but it's lovely, my daily driver from the day I fell for it

I fell in love the second I saw it
I think I paid too much for it but I just had to have it
No experience with them other than driving my dad's petrol series 2a back in 1990 when I was 6 and then a 2002 4.4v8 range rover last year so I'm pretty green with these. Any device is very welcome

That sounds like very good advice. It does get a lot of attention, and It is definitely not the most secure vehicle so I will get in to that. Any recommendations?

Just bought a disco 2 today aswell. I've gone lamdy mad in less than a month. Do you know much about them? Or the series 3 ?

Congrats on the disco 2, you’ll have to add disco2 to siggy now it’ll certainly be quieter and comfier than the series 3, I’ve had my series 3 diesel about 15 years gradually improving it, you can post in the disco or series forum for specific queries or have a search it’s prob been asked before.
I like the simplicity of the series and it’s easy and cheap to maintain and no sensors unlike the disco

Thanks for your reply, you are right but I have to say I just love driving the series 3. But the disco , it is a tool. I really fancy a remap on it but being landy green, I'm to aware or what problems might come from it . Any thoughts?

It’s a swb but I put in a 2.5 disco 200tdi in a couple of years ago but not the turbo so called a Di, a lot simpler swap
