Indeed. If you want coils buy a coil sprung landy. Leafers are slowly dissapearing and should be preserved ibn my opinion.peeps usually do the sensible thing and buy a depender instead of ruining a series
old fred i know but i got the same question lol, can it be done and how ? could you leave the leaf springs on so that it still looks authentic but add coils?
and don't tell me to buy a defender cos if i had the money i'd have fecking done that already![]()
what gain/benefit are you wanting to achieve ?
softer ride mostly, the farm track i travel twice a day is as potholed as hell, i'm sure it doesn't do the old girl much good thumping up and down thereguy who welded her up when the chassis split said the track was half our problem
i was thinking that coils may protect her as much as my arse!!! i don't want to lift her at all and tbh i'm not too bothered about the rough ride out on the roads
i kinda like it lol

Save the money that you would spend doin the above sell the series then buy a defender.
