I had the problem of low range not engaging had loads of beeps and the gear symbol, today I took the motor out and checked it was working which it is put it back together tidied up the wires, now when I engage low range it says low on the dash , but the LEDs are red it then Says select neutral I've at least got progress reg low- high range but something still isn't right, any ideas welcOme

is it actually going into low ,did yoyu turn shaft by hand in t/box to see if box selects allright ,more than likely ecu under passenger seat

It shows on dash as going into low but red dot stays on high range side low side all red and no difference in speed or ratio, will driving the vehicle when it says select neutral damage the gearbox at all ?
