My car hit 120k last week. I thought maybe I would change the spark plug's as what can be seen of them looked rusty as.Car has full main dealer history last service at 115k.Every service by supplying dealer as car only had 1 owner. I took out all the plugs to discover the rear on nearside bank was crossthreaded and only about 4 threads deep. ****ers.
I rang a mechanic friend who called up with a tool to regain the thread from the inside. My goodness what a difference in the car .its so much quieter and smoother .loving it.

Assume you have new spark plugs in now? and after 5k since the last you now need to do a full service. And I do mean a full service -everything!

This kind of nonsense from a main stealer drives me to distraction.
It is completely inexcusable.

Yes new spark plugs.bought a set from Halfords but they were the wrong type . Proper ones sourced and fitted now....not from Halfords. ..What does everything include other than normal service items.

I have a print out from day 1. £23000 in aftercare and thats the standard. Stratstones Newport yet again.

Google Stratstones Newport and read the reviews.
I'm amazed they are still dealers.

I was BMW bike dealer in the 80's - we'd have been struck off for this kind of thing!
