Do all 90's have sediment filters?

Was looking on ebay fer std fuel filter & came across this
Land Rover Defender Diesel Fuel Sedimentor on eBay (end time 09-Feb-10 15:05:19 GMT)

So I had a quick look underneath- round the fuel tank area & I can't see owt.
So either only fitted to certain years/models or I'm a blind numpty...
Mines 1988 wiv a 19J btw.

Discos have them, didn't think defenders did. They're a pain in the arse on a disco so why put one on a fender?

Just found them on fleabay while looking fer a fuel filter.
Can't find wun on mine.
