I have a 2000 P38 Vogue and the driver's electric memory seat is a bit poorly. Every so often it moves, just slightly but can be a bit off-putting, especially if it moves backwards when driving.

When this happens if you try and move it forward - it moves back???????

Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to sort it/

Hi there.
First thing i would do is take off the controls, dissasemble and clean them as you'll probably find that either part of the switch is collapsed or dirty. You know what its like in all the bits you can't clean in a car.

Well I tokk the switches off (couple of screws holding the bottom of the seat valance) and hoovered the back of them using the brush attachment......always wondered why dysons had these) and hey presto! so far so good!!!
