My wife has been using the 110 CSW recently and has noticed that the seat belt that holds the child seat has been slackening off after a short trip. Can I do something to the exsiting seat belt or should I fit a new one??

Thanks for any advice

Errr... the words 'child seat', 'seat belt' and 'repair' should convince you to buy a new one :D

They're not a lot of money, all things considered, and would you forgive yourself if your repair broke and killed yer kid.

Before you go all mad spending money - make sure kiddie seat is fitted properly first - it might not be the belt at all.

Cheers,

What I meant was is there a way I can get the tensioner to hold the tension. I don't know how they work so I was wondering if there was something which need tightened up or such. Are new belts easy enough to fit.

Don't know the answer to the first bit - not sure I'd want to try it anyway given it's going to be holding your child seat in.

New ones are very easy to fit - just some bolts (3 per belt IIRC) and try not to fit it twisted.

Cheers,

I went out and spend quite a while trying to get the seat to fit a bit better and eventually managed to get it to sit much tighter and after a good wee drive the seat has stayed in place. Thanks for recommending that I check the seat is fitted proper Adz, I thought it was but it turns it was just not quite right. Thanks again.

No worries mate - quick rule o thumb - always check the cheapest fix first, particularly if it's free ;)
