OK before you all say search, I have looked :p

Just need some clarification on bits you experts don't make very clear.

I am going to seal the seams on the back today. The ones on the roof are obvious and the one that joins the sides to the bottom. The gutter is a mystery, does that need sealing, it seems to join the sides underneath it.

And at the front, the doors, vents and windscreen are also obvious. Is there anywhere else? In particular above the windscreen where the blue bit meets the white roof.

I know it will never be completely watertight but I would particularly like to get rid of the water that gets into the pockets on the dash.

Surely shouldn't be leaking that much

There's supposed to be a rubber seal between roof and sides, and then a foam seal between the sides and the tub. Rubber seal between the front of the roof and the windscreen. If your doors are adjusted correctly they shouldn't be leaking or perhaps you just need new door seals.

I would check you actually have the proper seals in place first before squirting silicone everywhere. Might be easier and cleaner to fix than you think

The doors aren't adjusted very well, I know that needs doing, not a job for me though. I am guessing that you have to remove the body to put new seals on, again beyond me but sound like it could be worth getting done.

The back just drips somewhere, nothing bad but I wanted rid if it. I have seem the damp patches on the wood floor I put in.

The front is annoying cause if you leave something in the dash pockets it get wet.

Don't be put off lol its easy. Loosen the hinge to bulkhead bolts, close door and align it with the tub then tighten the bolts back up. You'll see what I mean when you try it. As for the rest, you can literally unbolt the roof from the sides and check if the seals there. If you couldn't find a new seal I guess a bead of silicone or similar around the top of the sides wouldn't hurt. Same with the sides to the tub, they just unbolt and again there should be a thick foam seal there.

Mine used to leak badly in the doors but that's cos I've got series doors and the water would pour in where the top half bolted onto the bottom. Sorted it now though. Apart from that mine is totally leak free, rare for a fender I guess lol.

Oil, now that's a different matter :p it still leaks that everywhere

OK, going to have a look :D Thank you

Mine didn't have any oil leaks but when I went under it on Saturday it had acquired one  Neil says its not bad, but I still don't like it, its going to get fixed :D

Does anyone have a picture of the part of the roof that meets the side panel, I cannot figure out it's shape it seems to have a double rib on the inside where the seal sits

Mine leaks from around the drivers roof corner area where the roof bolt sits in the roof above the door window it's a big drip but for the life of me i cannot figure it out...
