Mines an ex utilities 110 TD5. It'll probably have assister springs in the back because of all the weight it'll have been carrying around. Means the suspension will be very hard on the back without the weight. Took mine out and the ride was much better. Mine was also full of redundant wiring which I am still finding and removing. It should come with all the details of what has been done to it while with SP. It'll also very likely have a strengthened chassis. I don't regret buying the one I have.

I've got an ex Scottish power one and its brilliant. It's got side bins just in front of the rear wheels, assister springs, anti roll bars front and rear, heavy duty chassis etc... Pulls like a big ####ing train, has a ridiculously low mileage and is beautiful to drive. I would say go for it, it's a wise choice

mine is a suspected ex leccy,no side rollers in mine though,but chassis is still good 19 years on and its plated to 3500 kg not the normal 3050
When I got my Land Rover there was a bunch of keys with it but only one of them was any use, namely the one for the ignition and the front doors. All the other lock barrels had to be drilled out and replaced. I have a friend whose Land Rover came with a load of keys that wouldn't open any of the doors either so it seems to be a common experience. When his battery was flat and wouldn't operate the central locking I took a door off to get in. Fully stamped main dealer service history too.
