Is there a way of getting my tom tom to remember a route that i drive, as im going out on sat greenlaning to an area i dont know its quite a long route with lots of byways and i doubt i can remember all the twists and turns, so is it possible ?

if the route is simple then add the start to favorites and follow the lane. if it complecated add direction changes to favorites and name em turn right here...

If you have an iPhone / iPad then an app called Outdoors does route recording really well

Memory Map do a free download for Android.....

Memory-Map Digital Mapping for PC, GPS and Mobile

You get a standard road map and an allowance to active further OS maps free up to a defined limit.
You only need to activate the area you're interested in.
Further maps need to be purchased or obtained from "other" sources.

You could just ask whoever is leading your group for a copy of the route?

Assuming the person is responsible and nice i'll happily give copies of the routes i lead when out laning...

I'll be using "add current location" to favourites at various parts of the route, just to try and keep track.
