My parents have a 2008 Freelander HSE. They have noticed a sound that is similar to a doorbell when using the satnav. It doesn't go off in the same place every time and is puzzling them a little. Any ideas, or indeed answers will be gratefully read.

I thought that but my dad isn't that quick to be honest. It went off halfway up the close where I live too, no chance of speeding there!
