to be honest mate you cant trust anyone that you dont know and as people are out of work and some chavs are just after making some easy money they will nick anything thats not bolted to the floor, we live in a very quiet part of a small village just outside of the main town and we had our flower baskets taken of the front wall one night and these are huge, never got them back and the missus was gutted as she had only had them out there for a few days!!!!

stick a bike chain and lock through the holes in the ladders (or waffles), same for any high lifts that are bolted onto the outside. also worth getting some secure bolts on spots and winches too. i have seen the nuts, but i just found these to which may be better used in other applications: Security Fasteners and Fixings UK - Fourtress - Nuts, Screws, Bolts, and all other Fasteners and Fixings
