I gave up the cigarettes years ago when serving with an airbourne regiment needed to be fit. Then got posted to a normal regiment and started drinking and smoking cigars did not need to be quite so fit. Big mistake now I coach boxing and am forever telling kids not to smoke. Do as I say not as I do. Makes me feel like a right knob sometimes. I had one lad take the **** other night told him I have been there and done that, Then reminded him what happended last time I sparred him shut him right up.

Hey guys, cheers for a good laugh! was good meeting u all and I look forward tp doing it again soon!
Got up this morning with the intention of getting my nice orange paint back on display only to find the gun on the pressure washer was snapped, superglue and a bike seat post clamp later I was back in business and had a nice clean disco again. At which point dad decided he was taking mum laning for the afternoon and before anyone makes a comment THAT WAS NOT A EUPHAMISM! So the cars dirty once again!
Was glad I could be of use rescuing D71 lol, will try and get the few photos I got up at work tomorrow

Hey james i'm liking your disco especially with the black roof, or was that mud? , i wanted to go that colour with mine but kids/wife say's it's to garish... not that a 2" lifted, front bumper removed, very loud disco is subtle anyways but there you go.

Thanks mate, do it! It's certainly unique around here lol. The guy Dad and I bought it off used to go out around Leicester with his mate who had a matching coloured V8 Classic Rangey, quite a sight together I'm sure. Now a close friend of mine who happens to be a Landrover mechanic is hunting for a half decent disco that he can paint orange, so hopefully soon there will be 2 of us lol.
I just wish we had the sound and the performance of the V8 but with the practicality of the TDI lol

got a nissan 3.0 litre straight 6 turbo engine if ya want it
but would need a auto box for it the torgue it produces ripped a rangie 5 speed box to shreds :doh:
keep thinking about making a trialer for it but just cant bring meself to use a slitty lump (just could'nt put up with the crap i'd get
